Where can I charge an electric vehicle in The Gambia?

On a home AC charger, most vehicles charge fully overnight in six to nine hours. On a DC fast charger, a typical vehicle goes from 10% to 80% in 30 to 45 minutes. Each listing in the showroom states the figures for that specific model.

Our charging sites pair solar generation with battery storage, so charging continues through grid interruptions. For homes and businesses we can specify a solar and battery system sized to your daily driving.

Is the range enough for driving in The Gambia?

Comfortably. The vehicles we supply carry between 300 and 600 kilometres of range per charge. Banjul to Basse is roughly 370 kilometres, and most daily driving is well under 60 kilometres.

How does heat affect the battery?

Every vehicle we import has active battery thermal management designed for hot climates. We also advise on parking, charging habits and charger siting that extend battery life in Gambian conditions.

What does an electric vehicle cost to maintain?

Far less than a petrol equivalent. There is no oil, no exhaust, no clutch and no gearbox to service, and regenerative braking means brake pads last much longer. Servicing is largely tyres, brake fluid, cabin filters and software.

Who services the vehicle and supplies spare parts?

We do. Our technicians are trained to manufacturer standards and we hold spare parts locally, with direct supply lines to the OEMs we represent. Every vehicle comes with its manufacturer warranty.

Can you import a specific model that is not in the showroom?

Yes. We import directly through our OEM partnerships and can source a specific model, trim or colour to order. Import timelines are typically eight to twelve weeks depending on the manufacturer.

Do you handle duties, registration and clearing?

We manage the full import process, including shipping, clearing at the port, duties and registration, so the vehicle is handed over road-ready.

Do you work with government and fleet buyers?

Yes. We support ministries, municipalities, transport operators and private companies on fleet electrification, from total-cost-of-ownership modelling through depot charging to phased vehicle replacement.
